Voice Lessons
I have been teaching singing in Albuquerque since 1987, giving thousands of voice lessons to singers from mid-school through older adults. My students have ranged from high school and college aged people aspiring to careers in music to strictly recreational singers wanting to make a bigger contribution to their church or community choirs. I have also judged dozens of singing competitions, including All State, Solo and Ensemble, and Large Group festivals around the state of New Mexico. My studio is in Albuquerque’s Uptown area. Please contact me if you’d like to consider lessons.
“During my 25 years of teaching choral music at Moriarty High School, one of the BEST vocal teachers for my male students was David Poole of Albuquerque. David not only increased their vocal abilities, but provided them with the positive male role model many of them needed.. . . I recently went to hear one of my former students in concert. After the performance, we were discussing the possibility of him taking private voice lessons to address the tension in his upper range. I recommended David Poole.”

“David Poole's gifts range from teaching, to conducting, to
composition, to singing. He is
warm-hearted, funny and has the soul of a musician. I highly recommend him as a teacher of voice.”
